Review: 400 Gradi – Lygon St, Melbourne

Who took all the plain cheese? A buddy from New Zealand actually told me about this place and we booked about 2 weeks in advance for the 6pm seating and had to sit outside as a result of the restaurants popularity. This was not an issue for us and the rain stayed away which was great, the waiter was attentive and fresh from Italy which was a nice touch, sometimes we had to ask him to repeat himself but that’s all part of the fun.

The food itself was pretty damn good, whilst I don’t really think I could differentiate the Pizza’s from other really yum pizza’s i’ve had,  the food itself was actually really good. The pasta’s were delicious, the 4 cheese was great and obviously the Margarita was top notch as well. Overall, we got quite boozy, had all we could eat pizza and pasta and it came to about 60 a head which was money well spent.

Wouldn’t go again based on the lines and stuff, but overall I really liked it and am pleased I went to check it out.
